A little about me

I’m a UX/UI/Product Designer based in Canada or On the Earth.

I actually come from a background in biology. Why biology? Well, I’ve always been curious about how things work, especially in science. Life’s complexities felt like the ultimate puzzle.

After finishing my degree, I decided to study for an MBA in India because of my growing interest in how people make decisions in business. Why India? I never got to meet my Indian grandfather, but it felt like India was calling—and I was eager for the study-abroad adventure.

I honed communication, data analysis, and problem-solving in Iran’s sales and marketing scene, then craved a new challenge. My time in India also fuelled my independence and gave me the guts to fly 9,886 km to Toronto solo.

I landed in a pool supply store knowing nothing about pools, but two years later I was a supervisor. More than chlorine, I learned to really listen, empathize, and ask the right questions.

When my past studies and jobs stopped inspiring me, a friend showed me design, and it felt like home. So I enrolled in Humber College’s one-year UX/UI program. I interned three months at CoderPad, fully remote and hands-on, and now I’m all about leveling up my design skills

I recently joined the Takefleet community and collaborated on a project with them. I’ve also been taking courses, because learning is what keeps me energized and motivated to keep going.

When I’m not deep in design, you’ll probably find me playing music, listening to a podcast, or enjoying some painting or cooking. In the summer, I soak up as much Toronto sunshine as I can, Vitamin D is serious business! And whenever I have the time (and budget), I make sure to travel, because honestly, there’s nothing better.
